Job Description:
Summary of Position Responsibility: Perform a wide variety of complex assembly operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Perform a wide variety of assembly/erecting operations and procedures, i.e. bearing fits, drilling/tapping, hydraulic/lube/pneumatic piping.
Check specifications such as blueprints, sketches, BOM''s, or descriptions and review sequence of operations to ensure conformance.
Work with close tolerances, difficult alignments and riggings associated with construction of presses.
Operate a wide variety of power and hand tools. Proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools, including micrometers, indicators, gauges, and other measuring instruments as required.
Assist with the testing of units for final adjustments and disassemble for shipping.
Responsible for certain Product Compliance inspection functions. Maintain records for Product Compliance audit.
Interface with Supervisor, other assemblers and other personnel to analyze and resolve problems relative to work, materials, tools, product specifications and fabrication methods.
Pipe Shop requirements; working with various pipe fitting techniques/soldering, brazing, threading, welding, etc.
Assist in the maintenance of assembly floor efficiency objectives, i.e. Safety, housekeeping, and 6S program.
Other duties may be assigned or required for the performance of this position.

Knowledge &
Experience:
Work requires a thorough knowledge of shop mathematics, along with knowledge of simple assembly drawings.
Interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge.
Over one year related job experience.
