Part-Time Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer

Part-Time Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer, Town of Durham.
The Town of Durham is seeking a reliable, responsible person to fill a part-time position of Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer under the direct supervision of the Zoning Administrator/Code Official.
The position will entail 10-30 hours a week, with an average 20 hours per week throughout the year.
Cumulative hours will be greater during the weeks that UNH is in session, with less hours during the summer and during UNH breaks.
The focus of the code enforcement activity will be related to trash, parking, and occupancy issues in the downtown core and nearby neighborhoods or as otherwise directed based on the needs of the Town, as found in Durham's Town Ordinance.
Applicants must possess strong written and oral communication skills, be capable of organizing and tracking information in Microsoft Office applications, the GIS system, and work readily with digital photography and email applications.
A valid current driver's license and background check is required.
Beginning wage rate is $18.
00 - $26.
50 per hour depending on previous experience.
Enforcement background is preferred but Durham is willing to train the right candidate.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
